- In July, we have added a new product into our collection of Matcha Tea, Bio Matcha Tea Imperial! This new kind of matcha lies between Harmony and Premium and can be a great taste experience for our seasoned matcha fans, but also a promising start for all matcha newbies.
After some time, we decided to add a new product among our teas that represents the step between Harmony and Premium:
Harmony
Because Harmony represents strong taste experience, we recommend drinking it flavoured anytime during the day. Ideally shaked in our plastic Matcha Tea shaker – quick, easy, practically. Harmony is harvested mechanically and grows in Aichi and Shizuoka area. Shizuoka is famous for its growth of green tea, however, matcha is produced here a relatively short time for Japan standards – only a couple of decades.
Premium
Premium is a higher grade of matcha. Because it has a very fine flavour, we recommend drinking Premium in its natural form, occasionally with a few drops of lemon or lime. This premium grade of matcha deserves to be prepared in a glass bottle in which its vibrant green colour and rich foam are clearly visible. Premium contains very high amount of amino acids and because of that, it is a little bit stickier than Harmony and takes a bit more time to shake it thoroughly. The leaves for Premium are handpicked and it is grown in Aichi area, in a place where matcha has grown for centuries.
Imperial
Bio Matcha Tea Imperial has its place right between Harmony and Premium. Imperial’s taste is finer than Harmony, but at the same time stronger than Premium. Imperial has foam similar to Premium, but the tea leaves for Imperial grow in the same area as Harmony. Imperial tastes great flavoured during your everyday routine but can also taste amazing on its own on special occasions. Imperial contains more amino acids and provides you with more energy than Harmony, but on the other hand has more antioxidants than Premium.
Bio Matcha Tea Imperial is the golden mean of our tea offer. It has something for the seasoned matcha fans but also for the matcha beginners who are just starting to figure out if they like stronger and flavoured matcha, or if they prefer refined matcha in its natural form.
Bio Matcha Tea Imperial
Each box of Bio Matcha Tea Imperial contains 25 sachets, each with 2 grams of matcha. Bio Matcha Tea Imperial is no exception and just like all our other matcha grades, even Imperial must undergo regular tests and get certified with BIO (organic) stamp.
You can shake it in a regular shaker, in a glass bottle, or any other bottle with a cap. You can add fruit juice, high-quality syrup, spices, or milk. In summer, Imperial can be amazingly refreshing with ice cubes, in winter it can warm your body in combination with ginger, honey, or cinnamon (but be careful, the hot water temperature must not exceed 70 °C!).
