What is the difference between Bio Matcha Tea Harmony and Bio Matcha Tea Premium?

The tea leaves for the production of this exclusive tea are hand-picked. The pickers carefully select the greenest leaves to ensure the premium quality of this product. This premium grade tea is not suitable as a food ingredient.

Where is Bio Matcha Tea Premium grown?

Bio Matcha Tea Premium is grown only in Japan, in Aichi area, a place that has been chosen hundreds of years ago by the first matcha tea farmers because of its perfect climate. Leaves for Premium are handpicked only, mainly because Premium is made from the leaves that need to be picked in their early stage of growth and a human eye is necessary in this process. 

Can I drink Bio Matcha Tea Premium instead of coffee?

Organic Matcha Tea Premium may be more gentle for some than coffee. If you don’t want to deny yourself coffee, we recommend a few hours of downtime between the two beverages. Caffeine and its tea counterpart, theophylline, have different effects on the human body, so we suggest a serving of matcha in the morning and a cup of coffee in the afternoon, or vice versa.

Does Bio Matcha Tea Premium contain any allergens? Are some risks related to drinking matcha tea?

There are no known allergens related to this product. However, we do not recommend drinking Bio Matcha Tea on an empty stomach. It is a very strong tea and can cause nasuea if drank when you are hungry. 

Can I use Bio Matcha Tea Premium as food ingredient?

Premium quality matcha is not suitable as an additive. Its delicate taste is virtually not felt in food because it is produced for pure consumption. Its delicate flavour is thus specially refined for serving as a drink, on special occasions or as a natural source of refreshment. 

What is the recommended dose of matcha per day?

An adult can have up to 4-6 grams of matcha a day. Pregnant, nursing, and children should not drink more than 2 grams a day. 

How to store Matcha Tea Premium?

Matcha generally does not like direct sunlight. We solved the rest of the problems for you – our special sachets protect the tea from air and heat, its greatest enemies.   

The sachets with protective atmosphere guarantee quality and freshness of the tea. You don’t need to buy big packages of matcha that cannot protect the tea from air and light degradation. Big packages do not pay off to our customers, as the tea loses its colour, taste and aroma within just days.

How to prepare Bio Matcha Tea Premium?

A glass bottle is the most suitable for modern preparation. Empty the Bio Matcha Tea Premium sachet into the bottle, add water according to your preference – from 2 dl to 1,5 l – shake thoroughly and you are ready to serve. 

Summer or winter?

If you want to serve your loved ones a refreshing summer drink, you can prepare matcha in cold water. If you want to warm the hearts of your loved ones in winter with hot cup of matcha, use hot water up to 70 °C (if the water was hotter, it would burn the tea and all its benefits). 

Can I add flavour to my Bio Matcha Tea Premium?

Premium is intended for special moments of your day. It is particularly blended so it tastes the best in its natural form. However, if you want to add flavour, we recommend a few drops of lemon or lime in summer, a pinch of cinnamon or ginger in winter. If you want to prepare an exceptional experience to your guests, you can prepare Premium in milk or its vegan alternatives, or add more flavour by high quality syrup.

Can I be sure that Bio Matcha Tea Premium is regularly tested?

Happiness of our customers is on the first place in Matcha Tea. That is why we send each freshly delivered batch to an independent laboratory to be tested for pesticides, mould, e. coli bacteria and heavy metals, such as lead. What if I decide to buy another brand of matcha?

In case you decide to buy another brand of matcha, pay great attention to the tea’s country of origin and ingredients. The original matcha of premium quality comes only from Japan. There are many cheap matcha imitations on the market that usually come from China. These teas are not processed with steam, instead the oxidation of leaves is stopped by „frying“ tea leaves on the pan. Tea processed in this way has yellow or brown colour, bitter taste, does not contain as many nutrition, and often it contains high amounts of dangerous substances, such as heavy metals or mould.  

Always demand current tests that correspond with your batch of matcha. 

Where is Bio Matcha Tea Premium made?

The tea is grown in Japan. It is also processed and milled in Japan, and then sent via plane to the Czech Republic, to the Kyosun warehouse, where we carefully measure it into individual 1,5 gram sachets, pack them with love in boxes, and send with joy to our customers.
