Matcha Traditional

Traditional preparation of matcha tea. Unchanged for more than 800 years.

Ingredients

  • Bio Matcha Tea Delicacy or Ceremony
  • water about 70°C
  • tea bowl (chawan)
  • bamboo whisk (chasen)
  • bamboo spoon (chashaku)

Instructions

USUCHA – Put about 2 g of Matcha Tea in a tea bowl and add 70 ml of hot water of about 70 °C. Then whisk with the bamboo whisk until rich foam appears.

 

KOICHA – Put about 4 g of Matcha Tea in a tea bowl and add 40 ml of hot water of about 70 °C. Then whisk with the bamboo whisk to a thick beverage.
