Ingredients
- 175 g plain flour
- 175 g self-raising flour
- 150 ml of lukewarm milk
- 60 g melted butter
- 30 g sugar
- 1,5 tablespoon of Bio Matcha Tea Chef
- 2 eggs
- 20 g yeast
- pinch of Himalayan salt
- + cooking oil for frying, Matcha Tea chocolate or Matcha Tea Pudding as the filling
Instructions
- First make the starter: pour a part of the milk in a bowl, add two tablespoons of flour, teaspoon of sugar, crumble in or pour in the yeast, mix it all together and let it work.
- In another bowl, mix the flours, Matcha Tea, the rest of the sugar and mix thoroughly.
- Add the rest of the milk to the starter, add eggs and melted butter (the milk must not be hot!)
- Gradually add the dry mix from the other bowl.
- In a kitchen robot, mix the dough for about 5 minutes. Then cover it with kitchen towel and let it rise on a warm place for about an hour.
- Put the risen dough on the powdered rolling board and roll. With a cutter or a small glass cut out small circles from the dough.
- Let the donuts rise for twenty more minutes on the rolling board.
- Then fry them from both sides in oil.
- Fill the donuts with Matcha Tea chocolate or pudding through confectionary bag with a sharp nozzle, or just cover them in a mix of Matcha Tea and powdered sugar
